Georgia Confederate Home Postcard

Many of the Confederate soldiers’ homes produced postcards with views of the home and sold them to visitors to raise money.

The Georgia home issued their postcards in 1909 and said they would use the proceeds to “pay the car fares and other little expenses that will make the lives of the old veterans more enjoyable.”

This postcard isn’t one of the ones published by the Georgia home management, but it’s one of six different views I’ve seen, produced by postcard publishing companies.
